Wednesday, August 23, 2017, 9:00 A.M. Ė 5:00 P.M.

Our first stop on the tour will be in San Juan Capistrano. Remember the swallows always return there every year! On our journey to San Juan Capistrano, we will travel south with beautiful Pacific Ocean views. Once at our destination, we will have a guided tour of the history and area of the mission.

Our next destination will be Laguna Beach. There are many places there to have lunch and browse the shops, take a peek at the Pacific Ocean closeup and perhaps look into some of their wonderful art galleries. Laguna is nestled between the sparkling blue Pacific and majestic canyons. Laguna also provides a year-around retreat for art lovers, nature enthusiasts and beach-goers. Laguna Beach offers seven miles of soft sand and miles of hidden coves. This Orange County destination has a long-standing history as the retreat vacation destination. This city is truly a hidden treasure.

Now for the real fun at Newport/Balboa Island. We will have a 45 minute boat tour and will learn about some fun facts, history, and details of homes come to life.

After our boat tour, we will be able to browse Marine Avenue offering shops and little eatery with a must stop for one of Dadís Original Frozen Bananas dipped in chocolate then rolled in nuts. Balboa has a history rooted in land speculation, transportation and dance halls.

We will board our bus with a scenic ride along Sunset Beach and Seal Beach on our final visit to the Queen Mary in Long Beach Harbour. Long Beach is known as one giant playground where you can experience deep sea adventure at the Aquarium of the Pacific on the bay, browse Seaport Village or stay on the Queen Mary which is now a hotel. Long Beach is the 7th largest city in California, named the 4th most diverse city in the United States. Eclectic is a very fitting description of this city.

So, bring your camera, make sure you wear casual light clothing and comfy shoes and donít forget the sun screen!
